Donate your time to help give
girls a brighter future.
Our volunteers are teachers, coaches (in any sport), runners, parents, community members, employees of sponsoring companies, and high school students earning community service hours.
As a growing organization, we often need help with administrative and community outreach tasks. Examples include: helping assemble program materials or helping with data entry or office organization. These are great opportunities for those who are not able to commit to coaching, but still want to support the Girls on the Run program.
We are always in the need of volunteers for our season ending celebratory 5k (3.1 miles) event. This event is held at the conclusion of the 10-week GOTR program, usually the first Sunday in June. This event takes over 75 volunteers to be a success. We depend on volunteers to serve as course marshals, help with set up and tear down, registration, manage start and finish lines, water stop support, race safety and much, much more. We have a job for everyone who wants to help!
If you are interested in volunteer opportunities or volunteering at our 5k event, please email Jill Feury.
Please note that background checks are required for anyone over the age of 18 who wants to volunteer.
