Inspire Girls to be Joyful, Healthy, and Confident!
We are accepting inquiries for the Spring 2018 season and we welcome new coach inquiries for established sites throughout our five county council (Otsego, Delaware, Chenango, Schoharie, and Montgomery Counties).
Our programs meet twice a week during after-school hours for the 10-week season. No prior coaching or running experience is necessary to be a coach! Coaches come from a wide range of backgrounds – teachers and school staff, parents, and community members – all with the common desire to help the girls gain a stronger sense of identity and teamwork, greater self-acceptance, and a healthier body. Please begin by reading our New Site/Coach Packet to learn more about the program guidelines and the Coach responsibilities and opportunities.
For more information on establishing a new site in your community or becoming a coach, please contact the Council Director, Jill Feury.
In-person coach training sessions typically last about 4-5 hours. The training sessions are held in January at SUNY Oneonta and other locations as needed.
